14.85cm Square Gate Fold Invitation Card - Stardream Metallic Vista
- The 14.85cm Square Gate Fold Invitation Card is for brides looking for wedding invitations that are a little different but without needing to spend a small fortune!
- The card has two equal side flaps that fold over the front of the card and meet in the middle. Often the flaps are left as they are, but sometimes they are hole punched and a ribbon is threaded so that the flaps are closed with a bow. The front flaps are easily decorated with decorative handmade paper for a truly stunning appearance.
- This 14.85cm Square Gate Fold Invitation Card is made from our premium metallic sky blue (half way between baby blue and navy blue and is a little lighter than Curious Metallics Blue Print) paper from Italy - double sided colour.
- For those trying to colour match, some Australian wholesalers have rebranded this product and called it Metallic Sky Blue.
- This DIY Invitation Card arrives flat packed & unfolded making them easier to print. When folded they measure 14.85cm x 14.85cm square.
- Tip : When working with scored cards, the bump on the score (or fold line) is always the inside. When ready to fold, place on clean flat surface with bumps facing up and gently fold the card over and align the edges. Whilst holding the edges together, gently flatten out the fold. For best results, make the fold sharp by rubbing gently with the back of a clean spoon.
- We use & recommend Helmar 450 Quick Dry Glue or Helmar Premium Craft Glue for for gluing any inserts or decorative papers to the front panels. (sold separately)
- The invitation text is sometimes printed directly on the card but most often it is printed on a 13.85cm Square Flat Card and glued onto the center panel.

- This 14.85cm Square Gate Fold Invitation Card is made from paper that is manufactured by Cordenons Impressive Papers in Italy and is converted and packaged by Paperglitz in Sydney, Australia. This is a premium range of papers that has for many years been a favourite for all wedding stationers.
- This range of papers is laser compatible and as a result it is the widely used for DIY wedding invitations and projects as many standard laser printers that can print on heavy card stock will produce beautiful results. Some have reported beautiful results with some inkjet printers but we don't recommend as ink performance differs greatly between brands and are slow to dry.
